I've never been able to wear high boots.. my calves and ankles have also been too wide.. purchased these after seeing an article in the People magazine.. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical that that would fit.. but I am pleasantly surprised.. they fit and I love them.. the leather is high quality and very soft.. I'm getting ready to order in brown...
