These shoes are really great, but I understand only now what people meant by 1/2 size too small. The front foot is very wide, which is great because there's "breathing room" and added comfort, no squishing. However, and I wish I paid attention to the other reviews, the rubber front, ever so slightly pushes on the tips of my big toes. I just got them (via the internet) and only went portaging with them, so minimal walking, but I can foresee this becoming a nuisance- its one of those things that when you try them on in the store you don't notice, and one can get used to it, but had I known, I'd probably get a more "perfect" pair. Otherwise, they seem fantastic. Also, now that some of the review, I see, were correct about the toe/size issue, I am really hoping the reviews about the sole peeling off are incorrect....I can only hope. Otherwise, the shoe was delivered to me in Canada in about 2.5 weeks - it was reasonable, reliable and I'd order again from this group.
