Sanita has been making cozy, comfortable clogs the old fashioned Danish way since 1907. In fact, Sanita was one of the first to make them. Founder, Christen Andersen, not only built the first pair by hand, he also created the first distribution methods: the basket of his bicycle.



At Sanita, that tradition of craftsmanship and care lives on in every clog they make. With innovative design and an exacting standards process, Sanita clogs are always easy on your feet. And with attractive new styles each season, they’re easy on your eyes as well. Today they are still handcrafted in Europe. Sure, they could be outsourced, but Sanita just refuses. Maybe it’s because they’ve been making them the Sanita way for over 100 years.

Originally brought to the US via a strategic supplier relationship with Dansko, Sanita is quickly becoming known as the original.
